Ducati has launched the all-new Ducati Panigale V4 R in India at a price of ₹84.99 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing its most track-focused and technologically advanced production motorcycle to the country. Positioned at the top of Ducati’s global performance lineup, the Panigale V4 R is a homologation special developed to compete in the World Superbike Championship (WorldSBK).
According to the source the first 2025 Panigale V4 R allocated for India was delivered by Ducati Chennai on January 1, 2026. Ducati has confirmed that bookings are now open across its authorised dealerships nationwide.

A Homologation Special Built for Racing
The Ducati Panigale V4 R continues Ducati’s long-running “R” lineage, which dates back to the 996R introduced in 2001. Each motorcycle is produced in a numbered series, with the model name and serial number engraved on the clip-on handlebars, underlining its exclusivity.
At its core is the 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine, derived directly from Ducati Corse’s MotoGP and WorldSBK programmes. In standard road-legal form, the V4 engine produces 218 hp at 15,500 rpm and can rev up to 16,500 rpm in sixth gear. Ducati states that power increases to 235 hp with the optional racing exhaust and further to 239 hp when combined with Ducati Corse Performance Oil. In full racing configuration, the motorcycle is capable of exceeding 330 km/h.
Key engine components include lighter pistons with DLC coating, titanium connecting rods and intake valves, a forged steel crankshaft, and MotoGP-style oval throttle bodies.
MotoGP-Derived Aerodynamics

A major highlight of the Panigale V4 R is its advanced aerodynamics. For the first time on a road-legal motorcycle, Ducati has introduced MotoGP-inspired Corner Sidepods, which generate aerodynamic load at high lean angles to improve grip and stability.
The bike also features larger biplane wings, delivering 25 percent more downforce than the previous model at 270 km/h. Together, these upgrades enhance braking stability, cornering precision, and high-speed control on track.
Ducati Panigale V4 R Chassis, Suspension and Braking
The motorcycle is built around an aluminium alloy chassis paired with a hollow symmetrical swingarm designed to work with modern slick tyres. Suspension hardware includes fully adjustable Öhlins components—NPX 25-30 front forks, a TTX36 rear shock, and an adjustable steering damper.
Braking is handled by Brembo Hypure monobloc calipers, while forged aluminium wheels are shod with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 tyres, including a 200/60-section rear.
Ducati Panigale V4 R Racing Gearbox and Electronics

The Ducati Panigale V4 RR features Ducati’s Racing Gearbox, with neutral positioned below first gear to prevent accidental shifts. Its electronics suite is built around a 6-axis IMU and Ducati Vehicle Observer strategy, offering advanced traction, wheelie, slide, launch, and engine brake controls. A new 6.9-inch TFT display includes a Grip Meter that estimates available tyre grip in real time.
Ducati Panigale V4 R Availability in India
Priced at ₹84.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Ducati Panigale V4 R is offered exclusively in Ducati Red. With limited availability and a strong racing focus, it is aimed squarely at collectors and serious track enthusiasts in the Indian market.
