The displays are expected to measure 12.3 inches each and serve the instrument cluster, infotainment system and co-passenger display.

Other highlights include a new two-spoke steering wheel with the Twin Peaks logo, a black-and-tan interior theme and a cleaner dashboard layout. For added rear-seat comfort, Mahindra is offering an electronically adjustable front passenger seat with a ‘boss mode’ function.

Mechanically, the XUV 7XO continues with the proven engine lineup from the XUV700. This includes a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 200hp and 380Nm, and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine delivering up to 185hp and 450Nm. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox. An all-wheel-drive option is expected to remain available with select diesel variants.

Expected Pricing and Rivals

Mahindra is expected to price the XUV 7XO between ₹15 lakh and ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom). Once it goes on sale, the SUV will rival models such as the Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector and Tata Safari.
