Triumph 400cc Price Hike: Triumph Motorcycles has revised prices across its 400cc range in India from January 2026, following an earlier announcement by its Indian partner, Bajaj Auto. The update brings modest increases across most models, with the Speed 400 seeing the highest hike. To soften the impact for buyers, Triumph is also offering free accessories worth ₹11,500 on select Speed variants for a limited period.

Speed 400 Sees the Highest Increase
The Triumph Speed 400 is now priced at ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom), up by around ₹5,000 from its earlier sticker price. Despite the hike, the roadster remains competitively positioned in the segment, especially when viewed against its earlier pricing before the GST 2.0 revision, when it briefly crossed the ₹2.50 lakh mark.
The Speed T4, which sits below the Speed 400 in Triumph’s line-up, has received a smaller increase of just under ₹2,500. Its new ex-showroom price stands at ₹1.95 lakh. This keeps it among the more accessible offerings in the premium 400cc class, particularly for riders stepping up from smaller-capacity motorcycles.
Scrambler and Thruxton Prices Also Revised

The price revision extends to Triumph’s more lifestyle-oriented models as well. Both the Scrambler 400 X and Scrambler 400 XC have seen hikes of just under ₹2,300. The Scrambler 400 X is now priced at ₹2.70 lakh, while the more rugged Scrambler 400 XC comes in at ₹2.97 lakh (ex-showroom).
Similarly, the recently launched Thruxton 400 has also received a comparable increase. Originally introduced at ₹2.74 lakh, it is now priced at ₹2.76 lakh. The café racer-style motorcycle continues to target buyers looking for a retro design combined with modern hardware in the mid-capacity segment.
Free Accessories to Offset the Hike

To counterbalance the sharper increase on the Speed models, Triumph is offering free accessories worth ₹11,500 with the Speed 400 and Speed T4. According to the company, this limited-period package includes practical add-ons such as a tank pad, knee pads, a windscreen, lower engine bars and a short backrest.
This move is aimed at maintaining strong showroom footfall while also partially offsetting the higher costs that Bajaj Auto had reportedly been absorbing following tax changes. For buyers, the accessory bundle helps retain overall value despite the higher upfront price.
What This Means for Buyers
While Triumph 400cc Price Hike are never welcome, the increases across the Triumph 400cc range are relatively restrained compared to broader industry trends. With free accessories on offer for the Speed models and prices still lower than some rivals in the segment, Triumph’s 400cc motorcycles remain attractive options for riders seeking premium branding, strong performance and modern features.
As competition in the 350–450cc category continues to intensify in India, pricing and value-led offers like these are likely to play a key role in influencing buyer decisions in the months ahead.
Disclaimer: Prices and offers mentioned are ex-showroom and may vary by city and dealership. Free accessories and benefits are subject to availability and limited-period conditions. Please confirm final pricing and offers with an authorised Triumph dealer before purchase.
