2026 KTM 390 Duke New Front Brake Caliper Introduced

The key update for 2026 is the introduction of a new WP FCR4 front brake caliper. According to KTM, this upgrade is aimed at improving braking performance and feel. The rest of the braking setup continues unchanged, featuring a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc.
Standard safety electronics remain intact, including cornering ABS and Supermoto ABS, which allows limited rear-wheel slip for more aggressive riding scenarios.
Fresh Colour Option for 2026
Alongside the braking update, the 2026 390 Duke gains a new Atlantic Blue (deep matte blue) colour scheme for global markets. This new shade replaces the earlier grey tone seen on previous versions in some regions.
The updated colourway includes matte blue tank extensions and fuel tank panels, a black front fender, and black-finished alloy wheels. This marks a shift away from the signature orange wheels traditionally associated with the Duke range. The new colour joins the existing Gun Metal Grey option, which is currently available in India.
No Mechanical or Feature Changes

Mechanically, the 2026 KTM 390 Duke remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. Output figures remain consistent at around 46hp and 39Nm of torque (with slight variation depending on market homologation). The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter.
The feature list also carries over unchanged. Equipment includes a 5-inch TFT colour display with Bluetooth connectivity, multiple ride modes, traction control, cruise control, launch control, LED lighting, and advanced rider aids that position the 390 Duke as one of the most technology-rich motorcycles in its segment.
2026 KTM 390 Duke India Launch Status Unclear
At present, there has been no official confirmation from KTM India regarding the introduction of the updated WP brake caliper or the new Atlantic Blue colour on the India-spec 2026 KTM 390 Duke. The version currently on sale in India continues without these updates.
For Indian buyers, this means there is no immediate change to pricing or specifications. However, the global reveal indicates that KTM is focusing on incremental updates to keep the 390 Duke competitive against newer rivals.
More clarity is expected closer to the 2026 model year, should KTM decide to roll out these updates in the Indian market.
