Ducati has launched the all-new Ducati XDiavel V4 in India at a starting price of Rs 30.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest iteration of Ducati’s performance-focused cruiser replaces the earlier V-twin model and brings the brand’s V4 technology to the XDiavel lineup for the first time.

The Ducati XDiavel V4 is positioned as a modern power cruiser that combines relaxed ergonomics with high-performance credentials. Ducati says the motorcycle is aimed at riders looking for a distinctive cruiser experience without giving up the sporty character associated with the brand.

V4 Granturismo Engine and Performance

Powering the new XDiavel V4 is Ducati’s 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine. It produces 168 hp at 10,750 rpm and 126 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is derived from the Desmosedici Stradale unit used in the Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4 but has been tuned for smoother power delivery and long-distance usability.

Ducati claims the XDiavel V4 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in under three seconds. The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 229 kg, making it around 6 kg lighter than the outgoing XDiavel 1260 S, largely due to the lighter V4 engine and revised components.

Chassis, Suspension, and Braking

The XDiavel V4 features a 50 mm fully adjustable inverted front fork and a rear cantilever monoshock, both designed to balance comfort with handling precision. Braking duties are handled by dual 330 mm discs at the front with Brembo Stylema calipers, delivering strong stopping power for everyday riding and spirited use.

The electronics package is supported by a six-axis IMU and includes cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, power launch, quickshifter (up/down), cruise control, and multiple rider aids. Riders can choose from three power modes and four riding modes: Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet.

Ducati XDiavel V4 Accessories and Colour Options

Ducati offers a wide range of accessories for the Ducati XDiavel V4, including 48-litre panniers, passenger backrest, touring screens, comfort seats, sport exhaust, forged wheels, and carbon-fibre components.

The XDiavel V4 is available in two metallic colour options—Burning Red (Rs 30,88,700) and Black Lava (Rs 31,19,700), both ex-showroom.

With the launch of the Ducati XDiavel V4, Ducati expands its premium cruiser portfolio in India, offering buyers a blend of performance, advanced electronics, and long-distance comfort in the high-end motorcycle segment.
