The all-electric Range Rover is expected to arrive in India by the first half of 2026, following delays in its global rollout. It will be powered by a 118kWh NMC battery pack paired with dual electric motors—one on each axle—producing a combined output of around 550hp and 850Nm of torque.

A key highlight is its 800V electrical architecture, which will support ultra-fast DC charging speeds of up to 350kW. While the model is yet to be homologated, JLR is targeting a WLTP-certified range of approximately 530km on a single charge.

In terms of design, the electric Range Rover will closely mirror its ICE sibling, with only minor grille changes to distinguish it visually. Inside, the cabin layout is expected to remain unchanged, with JLR confirming that the battery packaging does not compromise passenger space or luggage capacity. Both standard and long-wheelbase variants are planned for India.

Pricing is expected to be around ₹3 crore (ex-showroom), placing it among the most expensive electric SUVs in the country.

Performance-Oriented SV Variants Also Planned

JLR is also lining up special editions under its SV sub-brand. The Range Rover SV will spawn multiple versions, including a Black Edition and a more exclusive SV Ultra. Additionally, the Range Rover Sport SV is expected to receive Black and Carbon editions, focusing on design and weight reduction.
