Although the teaser does not reveal the vehicle in full, the silhouette and lighting elements are telling. The SUV features a full-width LED light bar at the front that flows into the headlamps, along with an illuminated Volkswagen logo on the grille. At the rear, the Tayron is expected to get connected LED tail-lamps with a thin light strip and a backlit VW emblem, mirroring the design seen up front.
Globally, the Tayron shares several styling elements with the Tiguan R-Line, but its larger dimensions and extended rear overhang give it a more imposing stance. The Tayron is expected to launch in India in the first half of 2026, with prices likely to be in the range of ₹45 lakh to ₹50 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will take on rivals such as the Hyundai Creta’s larger alternatives, the upcoming Tata Sierra, and other premium midsize SUVs in the segment.
